Nelt Group Sustainable Business Report Presented

Today, Klub Privrednika hosted the #AccelerateSustainability event where sustainable business reports were presented by Nelt Group and its members, Neoplanta and Baby Food Factory (BFF). The event gathered representatives from state institutions, businesses, non-government organisations, business associations and media.

Tanja Miščević, Minister of European Integrations, opened the event by addressing the attendees.

“Domestic and foreign investments are equally important for a country’s growth and development. Sustainable development, as one of the vital aspects of domestic businesses and companies, is implemented in line with the model employed by companies operating in the European Union. The Ministry is working intensely on preparing a Reform Agenda, as a part of the Growth Plan, which will enable the country to accelerate its entry into the European Union markets and inclusion in the Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA), including green corridors and the simplified customs procedures for road freight transport,” stated Tanja Miščević.

In his introduction, Miloš Jelić, President of the Supervisory Board of Nelt Group, emphasised the importance of sustainable development goals and transparent reporting.

“The presentation of Nelt Group’s fifth Sustainable Business Report for 2022/2023 marks a continuation of our tradition in reporting according to GRI Standard as begun in 2014. We are unceasingly working towards more efficient utilisation of resources, introducing renewable energy sources, employee development and applying high ethical standards in daily operations. Our goal is to reinforce our foundations for future sustainable development, thus creating new values for our employees, partners, society and the environment,” stated Jelić.

This is where Neoplanta and Baby Food Factory (BFF) presented their first sustainability reports.
